Meet Dr. Rana Sayroo
A Dentist Providing Comfortable, Leading-Edge Care
Dr. Rana Sayroo's path to dentistry started in the chair. As a child growing up in Tampa, Florida, she genuinely looked forward to her dental checkups. The care and warmth she experienced from her family dentist left a lasting impression, and with encouragement from her family, she set her sights on giving other patients that same experience.
Dr. Sayroo attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree before going on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. During her time at VCU, she dedicated many hours to Mission of Mercy volunteer projects, providing high-quality dental care to underserved communities across Virginia. The experience deepened her commitment to accessible, patient-centered care.
She continued her training through a general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. The program took a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive dental care, exposing her to a wide and diverse patient population that sharpened her skills across many areas of dentistry.
Dr. Sayroo practices ethical, evidence-based dentistry with a focus on what each patient actually needs and wants. She takes continuing education courses regularly to stay current with the latest developments in the field and holds active memberships in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New Jersey Dental Association. Her goal for every appointment is to create the kind of comfortable, welcoming environment that made her fall in love with dentistry as a child.
Outside the office, Dr. Sayroo stays active and connected to the things she loves. She enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with her family. One of her favorite pastimes is baking desserts from recipes passed down by her grandfather, who owned a bakery in Florida. She was also a member of several dance teams during her undergraduate years and still enjoys practicing traditional Indian dance styles.
